SPN 10: The Amazing Power Of Relationship With God

 

Hi There! As promised in the previous episode,  I am going to show you the Amazing Power Of Relationship With God, that you get by being personal with Him and being close to His heart!

 

In the previous episode (The Secret Key To Personal Relationship With God), we saw the 2 modes of prayers that we can engage informal and casual. Both are needed and equally important. However, when religion forces to always be formal in prayer, then it becomes boring, habitual and does not help in building a personal relationship with God. So we saw that, you can be casual and real in expressing your feelings and emotions openly to God when building a personal relationship with God.

 

In this episode, we are going to study from the Bible, about the amazing Power Of Relationship With God.

 

According to me, one of THE BEST LEADER in the entire Bible was Moses. This is according to me and its a personal choice. I will give you the reason why I think that. A leader is someone who leads, but takes the full responsibility of the group that he leads. In the case of Moses, he never wanted to lead in the first place. You know that he tried his best to escape from God many times but God did not let him escape! Finally without any other option, Moses accepted to lead the people of God out of Egypt! You can read the entire story in the book of Exodus which is the 2nd book in the Bible.

 

But once Moses took over the responsibility of leading the people of God,  he was extremely sincere! One of the greatest prayer that can ever by done by a leader for his people is recorded in the Bible for us and that was by Moses!

 

This prayer of Moses fascinated me so much. I still wonder on how he could do such a prayer! This prayer was done by Moses when the people of Israel did the terrible SIN of creating a golden calf and worshipped it when Moses went on top of the mountain to get the 10 commandments from God. This sin which was committed by the people made God so much angry that he wanted them wiped out!

 

First Moses prayed for the people right at the top of the mountain even before he came down. In the initial prayer, Moses was able to change God’s mind a little.

 

Later on, when God was still angry with what the people had done, Moses prayed to God for his people and what a prayer that was!

Let us read:

Exodus 32:31 onwards

Look at the prayer of a leader for his people!! Moses tells God, that if God does not forgive the sins of the people, God must REMOVE the name of Moses from the BOOK OF LIFE! Moses is ready to perish eternally for the sake of this people! Man what a prayer that was!

Where did Moses get the courage to pray like this? That is the power of Relationship!

Moses built that personal relationship with God.

Moses knew, that NO MATTER WHAT, HIS GOD WILL NEVER REMOVE HIS NAME FROM THE BOOK OF LIFE!

THAT IS POWER!

Can you do such a prayer today?

Can you pray to God for your family with such power and courage?

Have you built a personal relationship with God which is so strong?

We all know what a wonderful relationship he had with God. He always used to sing and praise God like no other man on earth!

Do you know what God called King David?

GOD CALLED DAVID A MAN AFTER HIS OWN HEART!

What a Title To Get From God!!

Can God Call You as a Man Or Woman Or Child after his own heart?

Do you know what Influence David had over God because of his relationship with Him?

Let us read

 

God Promised David that his throne will be established forever. Do you know how God had fulfilled it?

 

Jesus is the Offspring of David! Jesus was born from David’s lineage!

 

So the THRONE OF KING DAVID WILL BE GIVEN TO JESUS AND THAT KINGDOM WILL HAVE NO END!

 

ABSOLUTE FULFILMENT OF GOD’s PROMISE TO KING DAVID. WHEN WILL THIS HAPPEN?

Do you See the result of having a personal relationship with God?

Again one of the best examples of having a personal relationship with God.

Do you know what God called Abraham?

 

ABRAHAM WAS CALLED THE FRIEND OF GOD!

WOW, What a privilege!

Can you be called a friend of God today?

Do you know what Influence Abraham had over God because of his relationship with Him?

Let us read the Prayer of Abraham for his nephew Lot:

 

You all know this story very well. Abraham keeps negotiating with God until he reaches 10 people all the way from 50. Finally God said, ok if he finds 10 righteous people in Sodom, He will not destroy the city!

But God knew Abraham’s heart and there was only 1 family that was righteous – LOT. God rescued Lot’s family and then destroyed the city.

See the influence that Abraham had over God because of his personal relationship with God!

 

OK, We saw 3 people from the Bible who were experts in building a Personal Relationship with God and the result of that.

 

Now we are going to FINISH THIS NUGGET with a VERY SPECIAL PERSON who I believe is a TYPE that is applicable to the CURRENT GENERATION!

ENOCH had such a special relationship with God that God took him to heaven directly!

Let us read 2 verses from the Bible.

“He was not” meaning, “he was not found”.

Where did he go?

It says God Took Him.

It looks here to be very normal that Enoch died just like every man of God. But NO!

The actual secret of what happened to Enoch is recorded for us in the New Testament.

 

This verse is FULL OF INFORMATION for us to DECODE!

 

NUMBER 1:

HE WAS THE FIRST PERSON IN THE BIBLE WHOSE PHYSICAL BODY WAS TRANSLATED INTO THE SUPERNATURAL SPIRITUAL BODY.

 

NUMBER 2:

The verse says, “HE SHOULD NOT SEE DEATH”.

Yes, the TRANSLATION OF THE PHYSICAL BODY TO SPIRITUAL BODY TAKES PLACE WITHOUT THE NEED TO DIE!

 

NUMBER 3:

The verse says, “GOD HAD TRANSLATED HIM”.

Yes, this body translation cannot happen by itself or by our power. This can happen only by the act of God!

 

NUMBER 4:

The verse says, “HE HAD THIS TESTIMONY, THAT HE PLEASED GOD.”

This is the reason why he was translated. He pleased God.

But HOW DID HE PLEASE GOD?

 

NUMBER 5:

THAT QUESITON IS ANSWERED IN THE SAME OLD TESTAMENT VERSE THAT WE SAW:

 

What is waking with God all about?

NOW HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE:

 

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT TO THIS GENERATION OF OURS?

 

THE BIBLE TALKS OF ONE GENERATION IN THE FUTURE WHICH WILL BE TRANSLATED EXACTLY IN THE SAME WAY AS ENOCH WAS TRANSLATED!

 

So This Is The Sequence Of Events That Will Take Place When Jesus Returns:

 

 

Next:

So that is what the RAPTURE REALLY IS.

Those who are DEAD IN CHRIST will rise FIRST.

Then we which are ALIVE WILL BE CAUGHT UP OR PULLED UP TOGETHER to meet JESUS IN THE AIR.

Hope that is clear. Now let us add MORE DETAIL INTO THIS EVENT:

So this is exactly what we saw. We will not all DIE but WE WILL ALL BE CHANGED OR TRANSLATED!
The already DEAD PEOPLE IN CHRIST WILL BE RAISED FIRST.
When the DEAD PEOPLE are RAISED TO LIFE, THEY ARE ALREADY TRANSLATED INTO THEIR SUPERNATURAL SPIRITUAL BODY!

Then We which are ALIVE, WILL ALSO BE TRANSLATED INTO OUR SUPERNATURAL SPIRITUAL BODY!
That is why this verse says WE SHALL ALL BE CHANGED!

Do you know what is this SUPERNATURAL SPIRITUAL BODY that we will get?
This is the body of Jesus Christ that he got when he rose from the dead!
Jesus got the supernatural spiritual body. He could transcend space and time. He could get into locked rooms (remember he appeared to the disciples in locked room?)
He could eat and drink in his supernatural body! He could appear and disappear. He could go to Heaven and be back to earth in seconds!
That is the same kind of body that we will have once we are translated during the rapture.

Next,

See?

The DEAD shall be raised INCORRUPTIBLE (TRANSLATED) and

WE (who are alive) shall be CHANGED (TRANSLATED).

Now do you see WHY I AM TRYING TO MAKE A CONNECTION BETWEEN ENOCH WHO WAS TRANSLATED AND THE CURRENT GENERATION WHO MIGHT MOST PROBABLY BE TRANSLATED?

Now here is the KEY that ties all of this together.

This KEY WAS GIVEN BY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

JESUS HAD WRITTEN A LETTER TO THE Philadelphia CHURCH.

This is a MODEL OF THE CURRENT CHURCH WHICH IS GOING TO BE RAPTURED.

LET US READ.

THERE IS SOON COMING A TIME OF TRIBULATION SUCH AS THE WORLD HAS NEVER SEEN. THIS IS CALLED AS THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION.

BUT JESUS HAS PROMISED THAT HE WILL KEEP US FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION.

THIS MEANS THAT HE IS GOING TO REMOVE US BEFORE THAT TIME OF TRIBULATION.

THE WORDS ARE VERY IMPORTANT – JESUS DID NOT SAY, I WILL KEEP YOU THROUGH THE TIME OF TEMPTATION. HE SAID I WILL KEEP YOU FROM THE TIME OF TRIBULATION.

Some Christians believe that we will be kept safe and protected during the time of tribulation here itself on earth.

Some believe that we will have to go through the tribulation just like every child of God who went through trails in the past.

I will explain and clarify all of this with evidence from the Bible as to why that is not correct and that we will not be here during the time of tribulation.

BUT HOW DO WE ESCAPE? WHAT IS OUR QUALIFICATION TO ESCAPE?

JESUS GAVE US THE KEY!

What is that?

 

 

YOU SEE THE QUALIFICATION FOR BEING RAPTURED IS HAVING A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!

 

Some of you might ask, so is this the only qualification that is needed?

 

So I hope that answers that question.

 

All of this is real and Jesus said that HE IS COMING SOON.

 

So let us be preparing ourselves by building a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD that will QUALIFY US TO BE TRANSLATED LIKE ENOCH AND BE TAKEN TO HEAVEN BY OUR LORD!
